Group Transfer to Lake Atitlan w/ Lunch

We will depart from the Westin in the morning and drive 3.5 hours west towards Lake Atitlan, a breathtaking volcanic lake surrounded by dramatic peaks and colorful Mayan villages, offering one of Guatemala’s most spectacular landscapes and an unforgettable blend of natural beauty and living culture. Lunch will be provided.

Group check-in at Hotel Atitlán for 3 nights’ accommodations, a charming hacienda-style hotel set on the shores of Lake Atitlán, surrounded by lush botanical gardens and sweeping views of the San Pedro, Tolimán, and Atitlán volcanoes. Once a working coffee plantation, the hotel blends traditional Guatemalan character with comfortable rooms, creating a peaceful retreat for enjoying the lake’s natural beauty and memorable sunsets.

Excursion w/ Lunch

You will venture out on a scenic boat excursion across Lake Atitlán, visiting picturesque lakeside villages known for their own distinct culture, artisan traditions, and beautiful views. San Juan La Laguna: charming village celebrated for its artisan cooperatives, naturally dyed textiles, colorful murals, and strong connection to Mayan culture. Santa Catarina Palopó: hillside village instantly recognizable for its brightly painted homes, traditional Kaqchikel culture, and spectacular views across the lake. Lunch provided at Hotel Villa Santa Catarina.

Leisure time will be available this afternoon to stroll the local streets of neighboring Panajachel with shuttle service provided.

Day at Leisure

Lake Atitlan

Breakfast served at Hotel Atitlan.

Group Transfer to Antigua w/ Lunch

We will depart from Lake Atitlan in the morning and drive 3 hours east towards La Antigua Guatemala, a beautifully preserved colonial city where cobblestone streets, colorful architecture, and dramatic volcano views create one of Central America’s most enchanting destinations. During our route, we will visit the pre-Columbian Mesoamerican site of Iximche and witness a spiritual Mayan ceremony. Lunch will be provided at Katok of Tecpan.

Group check-in at Casa Santo Domingo for 3 nights’ accommodations, a distinctive boutique hotel set within the beautifully preserved ruins of a former 17th-century convent in the heart of Antigua. Blending colonial history, elegant accommodations, and modern comfort, the hotel features tranquil gardens, museums, art galleries, and upscale dining - offering a memorable and convenient base for exploring Antigua. Dinner will be provided.

Breakfast served at Casa Santo Domingo.

Group Excursion w/ Lunch

You will embark on a guided tour of Antigua, discovering the rich history and landmarks of this charming UNESCO Word Heritage Site. Visit the Cathedral, La Merced, and San Francisco - three of the city’s most iconic colonial sites. Continue to Finca La Azotea, a working coffee farm and cultural estate, where you will learn about Guatemala’s renowned coffee heritage and the journey from bean to cup. Lunch provided at the Finca, surrounded by its beautiful gardens and historic grounds. Return to Antigua.
