Transportation from the San Jose International Airport to the Tabacon Thermal Resort & Spa
Day 2

Excursion
Full-day (around 8–9 hours) guided tour that combines nature, light adventure, and scenic views. It’s considered one of the best ways to experience the highlights of the La Fortuna region in a single day.
- Hanging Bridges: A guided walk through the rainforest canopy across a series of suspension bridges, offering great views and opportunities to spot wildlife like monkeys, sloths, and tropical birds.
- La Fortuna Waterfall: A visit to one of Costa Rica’s most famous waterfalls. It involves a short but steep hike down to the base, where there’s time to enjoy the scenery and possibly swim.
- Arenal Volcano Hike: A moderate hike around the base of Arenal Volcano, walking through lava fields and forest trails while learning about the volcano’s history and ecosystem.
- Traditional Lunch: A stop for a local Costa Rican meal, typically including rice, beans, plantains, and a choice of protein.

Chartered Flight from La Fortuna (Tabacon) to Quepos (El Parador). We will be sending a luggage truck ahead of our flight, so you will need a personal item only for the flight as your luggage will meet you at the next hotel.
