Before My Trip

Weather conditions will be warm and humid, so be sure to pack comfortable clothing. Here are a few other must-have items (including dress code requirements for the resort):

  • toiletries, medications

  • swimsuit, sunscreen, hat

  • comfortable sneakers/tennis shoes, socks, flip flops/sandals & dress shoes for dinner

  • shorts, capris

  • bathing suit wrap/cover-up

  • dress shirts/collared shirts, blouses for certain restaurants

  • phone, laptop, chargers

  • credit/debit cards for personal expenses

Currently there are no vaccinations required to travel to Hawaii.

Accomodations

The Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa generally follows a "resort casual" dress code with some restaurants being "casual". 

What “Resort Casual” typically means

Good choices

  • Sundresses, nice sandals

  • Polos or collared shirts

  • Shorts or pants that look polished (not gym shorts)

  • Casual button-downs, light dresses, linen outfits

Usually not allowed / discouraged

  • Swimwear without a cover-up

  • Bare feet

  • Very athletic/gym clothing

  • Anything overly revealing in indoor dining areas

There will be a pre-trip option to Oahu and a post-trip option to the Big Island!

3 days/2 nights Oahu: Sept 27-29

3 days/2 nights Big Island: Oct 5-7

Maverik has provided the All-Inclusive Premium Tier Package for all attendees. This includes:

  • Daily buffet breakfast
  • Lunch
  • Dinner (3) course meal
  • Unlimited alcoholic beverages to include Mimosas, Bloody Mary’s, Premium Wine, Premium & Specialty Cocktails and Domestic, Import & Local Beers; anything outside of these selections will be at the entire cost and at the individual’s expense plus 18% gratuity and sales tax of 4.712%.

All-inclusive starts at 4:00pm on September 29, 2026, and ends at 4:00pm on October 05, 2026, departure date. 


The Food and Beverage outlets are as follows:

  • Daily Buffet Breakfast: Swan Court
  • Lunch: `Umalu and Pool Service
  • Dinner: Japengo, `Umalu, and Son’z Steakhouse
  • Alcoholic beverages to include selection of beer, wine by the glass, select premium beverages and cocktails

Not included: In-room dinning and Honolulu Coffee Company


Please note that all attendees must have their Specialty Wristbands (provided to you on arrival) on them for all-inclusive packages.


In addition to the All-Inclusive Package, Maverik is hosting the group Welcome Dinner on Tuesday, September 29th and the Farewell Dinner on Sunday, October 4th.

Drums of the Pacific Luau Dinner on Thursday, October 1st is included for the whole group as well.
